I have tried to play the game. And I can understand how it can be addicting...but there is no way I could get addicted to it. It is mind boggling and I do not like messing with numbers that way. However...one of my kids are completely addicted to that game! We got the electronic version and it was not turned off all day when it was opened. LOL

rather than just completely giving up why don't you just put it down for a while then in an hour or two pick it up again. Something that may improve your performance is starting like I started. They offer sudoku books that are designed to help you improve your logic building. there are many steps in these books that I had helped me when I was first starting.

I play sudoky once in a while when I stumble on one. It really helps to develop our logical skills! Are you methodical and be sure that the right number is in the right box or do you take chances and hope that your guesses are right? As for myself, I my guesses has always been wrong, so I prefer to be methodical.

I really dig on Sudoku. I do not play it very often as I am more into crossword puzzles but when I do play I find that I am at about a 40% guess rate. Not too bad considering that I picked it up without even understanding how to play it!

I like it because it keeps me busy. Sometimes I hate it when I can't find a number. It's like I've been going in circles, but then I make progress, Yay for me! They can be fun when you finish. It's a good addiction to stimulate your mind. Tip:I actually to try and knock out certain numbers. If there are a lot of two's then I go around trying to see where they can go. Other than that, it's freelance problem solving. It's a process of elimination.
