On May 9,2016 ... we the Filipino people are going to elect a new president and he is going to lead our country for six long years. This would have been just another normal election but no ... what's disturbing about this one is that the presidential candidate who is consistently leading in surveys conducted by SWS and other survey entities is a self confessed killer, dictator and and have "left" leaning ideologies. His political advisor is the head of the communist group in our country. If he wins this election which is for certain because he is a consistent favorite he vows to put up a socialist government. How dare he risk the lives and future of millions of Filipinos I emplore your help in praying for our country and for us all Filipinos. What are your thoughts on socialism?

The big change this candidate is refering to is socialism and according to a comment someone made to me on facebook ...socialism is just another word for communism. Socialism=communism He deliberately misled his followers.

You (Filipinos) have to do something then. If you cannot let him disappear from the face of the earth; just castrate him!

Its now May 9 and we just finished voting and sadly this controversial candidate is leading in the unofficial counts. We really do not know how our future is going to be now.

Who did he kill? Who did he dictate to? What are 'right' ideologies anyway?

I do hope and pray that you get a good president and a stable government to look after your country. Elections can be a real worry.

@mammots Some politicians are very clever at swaying people's opinions. And I gather there is quite a bit of corruption there among politicians.

@JudyEv We have our share of corruption in our government and government officials. They are far from perfect but i would rather have them than have a so called socialist aka communist form of government

i heard in the news last night that this presidential hopeful will make a revolutionary government and that is too alarming for us to think otherwise on not voting him. i have my president in mind and i don't care if i belong to the 3%.

If he does not win this election his npa and communist followers will lead a revolution and it will be a bloody one... but if he wins there will still be a revolution because as soon as he sits in power he will set up a revolutionary government and and get rid of those who gives him a hard time.

@ridingbet Its scary cause his followers follow him blindly The next time they open their eyes their freedom would have been taken away from them and they would feel so disillusioned.

@mammots i am so sorry for those who will vote for him, but his personality (in my opinion) does not suit as a president of any country.

The followers of this candidate seem to have closed their minds to the truth. Even if evidence of his being a dictator is dangled in front of their eyes dont turn a blind eye and refuse to listen. Its like a cult.

I don't know if it's going to unite the country, though I am a bit happy he's going to address the problems in mindanao but I fear that it might give us trouble if the west cut ties with us because of him, making the country completely tied to china, which is bad news.

@mammots I don't see any possible hope with him since he has no concrete except criminality.
