is cooking with recycled cans safe?

I want to usr some clean chicken breast cans to bake bread in. Is it safe? Is there a film in the can that I cannot see?

If you have washed it really clean it should be fine. I would not do it with the ones with the white lining. I have baked bread in soup cans in the past.

I you're talking about aluminum or steel cans, the interwebz says, "Yes." Just clean 'em first.
