with time we have seen that people are leaving their native places and roaming and settling in the other parts of the world. due to this we can see blends of cultures in many parts of the world.
what do u think friends?
The amalgamation of the cultures is healthy for us or is it causing our roots to weaken.?

I believe it is healty for us. one should adopt the positive things of a culture and leave aside the negatives of even their own culture. no culture is perfect. One thing is sure. change!!!. change is inevitable. change is the law of nature. so let thinngs change...let there be a fusion of cultures. it is really good.
We indians have adopted several cultures from time to time. we were attacked by Parisians in 300 BC, we were attacked by mughals by 1100 AC. they came up with their culture. the culture we have right now is not the one which were here before 2000 years ancient INDIA.
So our culture has always been changing and mixing since ages. and we havn't see any negative effect of it yet. So hope you have got your answer. Shivani ji.

I think this is what we called cosmopolitan culture. I feel its good that various cultures blend together, but at the same time, it would not be ideal to have a certain culture lose out on its core values completely, because that is what identifies them uniquely.
Just like each state in our country has its own rich heritage and culture , now with migrations, it should allow people to grow but at same time retain the roots.
Imagine a West Bengal without a Bengali feel to it or a Tamil Nadu without any south Indian cultures. I am from MP moved to Maharshtra but I feel the culture of the place should be retained too along with development , growth and progress.
