Diesel Dog and the Treadmill

Yesterday my son ordered a Treadmill on a 3 month trial. It arrived while he was at work so the lovely man who delivered it set it all up for me and showed me how it worked. Then I practiced on it, walked for a short while but didn't do any inclines, however I'm sure that will happen soon. I was very excited and making plans to exercise and eat well. Even thought of writing up a roster for my son so we knew whose turn it was. After all wouldn't we both be wanting to use this magical piece of apparatus. Well, you would think so wouldn't you? Since it arrived my son as been out the two nights since it arrived and since my practice turn yesterday I have not been back to walk on it. Still there maybe still hope, Diesel Dog has sniffed it all over and given it his stamp of approval. So if I can teach him how to turn it on I might never have to walk him again. And of course I'm sure I will be using this Treadmill very soon................

@glenniah The big city on the west coast. Is there a feeling of being far removed from Canberra, Sydney etc?

@JohnRoberts No not really the issue only arises when we have to travel to the Eastern States, by plane it takes between 5 and 7 hours and by road, two to three days, :0)

Sorry I missed this when you wrote it. Have you been using the treadmill much lately?

@jaboUK I haven't used the treadmill as much as I did last year. I'm going on a Cruise to Singapore in July Janet, so hopefully that gives me inspiration.

@glenniah There's nothing like an impending holiday to motivate us to try and look a bit better

Maybe you could extend it and then both of you can walk on it at the same time. LOL

I go out for long walks - a treadmill would bore me as the scenery would be so static - glad you enjoy yours though

I can't imagine Diesel would choose to run on a treadmill in preference to running free through the fields and woods... but you never know.

@Fleura I agree with you. He loves to run free and fast when he is outside

We hired one for a few months to see if we would use it - which we did - so we bought it - and have barely been on it since. It's just stupid and crazy. We really should be using it more.
