Growing in the Garden

I was going to go to the garden and weed the asparagus raised beds. I was hoping to run into my friend Iva, as I had borrowed a book from her.
My handyman guy was there picking some asparagus. Then Iva came. We used some natural repellents on the potato beetles. She and I worked over a bed of asparagus, loosening the soil. We had a wonderful visit. I stayed too long.
If you miss me around myLot, go on down to the garden, I am likely there.
Image is of some of our potatoes.

We live in an apartment so a garden is out of the question. Wish I had one. Enjoy yours :)

that is a beautiful backyard. our backyard has many rocks and stones that is why we just have the avocado trees to brag about, but no vegetable plants though

Oh, this is not in my yard. This is a large piece of property that belongs to the city. They provide the water. I spend a lot of time collecting rocks from here, but we have people who help till it up with tractors and rototillers.

@ridingbet In a way it is the front yard for the museum across the street. It is lovely, thanks.

Although I like being online, I really believe that working in the garden is much better for me. I go there some most days.

It is cool that this community offers so many opportunities to garden for free.

I am adding a garden this year. Not just a few pots here and there.

Sandy I hope you have a good result. I always had a few pots or small plots. That is what I have in my new yard this year. I am so enjoying this community garden for the big stuff.

Missed this one along the way. I so want a garden but I so don't know how I will have the time away from my earning efforts to take care of that! Heather brought us a lot of seeds and Liz bought planting materials, but nothing happening with any of it.

I always have mixed feelings. For me I just need to get myself outside and do it.
