Vote buying is everywhere

After my daily routine, I went home with full of sweats and on my way, I met 3 girls who just get outside from our gate and I don't know them. They brought bags fully loaded with envelops. When I about to get inside, my husband handed me 3 envelops and I open 1 of it. OMG, it has P3,000.00 with sample ballots from a team of candidates. My good God, are they that hungry? I couldn't imagine how much they spend for this election and they don't even know if I'll vote for them. I ask my neighbor who bought some stuff in my store, did you received envelops with money inside? She answered immediately, yes. we received it. So, I conclude that they give envelops with money to each household. What can you say about this friend?

so an envelop costs P1000? just joking. here, the former mayor's supporters shell out the 500 bill to the squatters, and these squatters readily accept them, but we don't know if they will vote for him or nor.

No, its P3,000.00 worth of envelop. Each envelop contains P3,000.00 and we are 3 here so its roughly P9,000.00 and the worst is, they don't even know if we vote for them.

@ida123 these foolish people have their way of knowing if you will vote for their candidates. you will notice on election day when their guards will be there watching how you will vote. ()

@ida123 yeah I know it happened here before. The budget for vote buying of a governatorial bet was pocketed by the person assigned to buy the votes.

Nah, maybe the budget intended for you was given to the man who has a very big pocket. Vote buying is rampant nowadays.

That is what we're doing, we vote for our candidate not the ones who bought us. We are not asking money from them, they are the ones who give it.

@Missmwngi We don't like this kind of candidate who used to buy votes, the tendency of this candidate if he wins, he is a corrupt one because he wants his money that he gives during election will come back to his pocket again.

@ida123 That is the way to go. If the candidate can bribe for votes he/she does not deserve the votes at all

Yes, I will vote for my candidate whom I think is qualified and best for the position. Anyway, we are not asking the money, they plainly ask for our names and they will find it in the master list if we are there. Maybe they're doing this so that they will know if the person they are giving are the real voters or qualified to vote.

@ida123 since the value increases that is why they do that.or maybe to consider it as a gift.. Long time before I remember the highest price was only a hundred for local and 500 for national funds..but now I heard from local it's 3k..wonder where they get all those money. I'm sure I won't be receiving any..for when somebody comes to the house and do survey my answer was 'the secrecy of my vote is my right'..

@jndlponti For us here, no one does surveying. They'll just come to each house and give the envelops as long as your name was in the master list.

Omg. That is too much. That is my salary tax per cut off already. Imagine if they win the election, they'll going to get the amount they give thru corruption. Is there anybody who stand in your neighborhood towards that? That is obviously vote buying. You should've posted that on social media. Almost everything now are exposed thru social media. You should've shared the photo's of people and party who are giving the envelops and what's inside the envelope. ha ha If you got 3 envelops, you had 9,000 cold cash. wahahah. easy money. ha ha ha

Yes, we take it. They give that to us and it is not good that we refuse an offer, that is a very great insult to them, right? As of now, almost all candidates even incumbent or new candidates are giving money, they deliver the money to every house.
