No Swimming Pool ? This Will Do

my nieces and grandson of my sister at the lawn

It’s summer here in the Philippines , so most people specially the kids would like to take a dip in a pool or at the sea . But if you don’t have a pool at home , you can still have your kids take a dip . Through an inflatable pool ! My father when he still have his left lower leg and younger , used to have a dip on it , after my nephews and my daughter have finished taking their almost 3 hours dip on it . He would just simply have it filled with new water and he would be there for an hour or two until the sun has set already . And just last Saturday , when I went to my parents house I saw my two nieces and the grandson of my sister having fun , swimming in the inflatable pool , at one side of the lawn as you can see in the picture . It reminds me of our daughter and her cousins when they were still kids . It’s a cheap way for the children to have fun without having to go far from home .

my brother brought home an inflatable pool for my son (he was still an infant that time), and i, my mother (+) and sister would dip ourselves at night, and it was a cool refreshing night for us. it is still here, but with the hot water from the faucet, i don't think we have tio take a dip frrom this 2 feet shallow inflatable pool for now

Really , even the faucet has hot water . Us here the water is tipid though not hot . That is indeed a nice way to refresh yourselves at night . Then , you should do it at night only .

@SIMPLYD the pool is now hidden and kept hidden now, because we cannot afford to take a dip anymore. our water supply is scarce now, owing to this dry season and drought as well.

I had the time to swim last Tuesday with my sister and her family. I felt relieved of the pain I had with the recent days of campaigning.

If I have a big lot to dig a deep pool, I would make myself a cheap pool using a waterproof pond liner

@SIMPLYD I could save hundreds by doing that... it's just that, I don't have that big vacant lot...lol. It's easy for me because I've been making fish ponds by myself...

It seems a good idea to enjoy swimming in the make shift pool. Children love to play with water and they do not want to come out of such kind of swimming pool.

Besides having them there where you can just be watching from your receiving room or kitchen gives you the feeling that they are safe because you know that the water is deep enough not to drown them.

@zaga_cleuth Correct , And you can use it over and over again , though the water should always be new each time you return for a dip.

Well, the water costs less than going to a place where you will pay every time you go to a resort where there is pool. And you can just stay in the water at your heart's content .

So you too got to swim in the river. Our father together with his barkada would take us to the river where we swim for the whole day. They would be also fishing and add those caught to the brought fishes for grilling . During those times , inflatables aren't the fad yet because me and my siblings weren't able to experience it .
