Does Anyone Earn at Literacy Base?

So... another site bit the dust. Well, maybe not actually eating the dust, but definitely feeling the heat and getting a bit of dry mouth.
I see a lot of people rushing over to Literacy Base. I am not surprised by a few people doing that - some people join every site as soon as it pops up. Most of those sites go under.
Literacy Base looks like a very chancy deal to me. Some of the set-up looks to be a copy of Blogjob, but very hastily put together. It tells you how to earn points, but not how many you will earn and more importantly, it doesn't tell you how much they are worth.
But a quick look at hypestat shows how really ignored by the net the site truly is. If they get no traffic, they will make no revenue and no one will be paid anything. Which no one can complain about because nowhere on the site do they promise to pay any writer any particular amount. Unless your amount is over $10. Who knows how long that takes? Maybe you have to join to find out if you want to join.
Hey, maybe it will turn out to be a great site. But the odds are against any new site.
Has anyone tried Literacy Base? Am I way off base in my doubts about it?

When I first saw Literacy Base mentioned at BlogJob I went to have a look, but I wasn't really impressed with what I saw either. I'm not prepared to write 300 word posts without knowing what's in it for me. If BlogJob doesn't recover I'd rather give Blogspot a try. I may not earn much, but at least I'll have my own blog at a reliable site.

I have joined Literacy Base but to be very honest I am tired of jumping from place to place. Through History tab, i know I earn one cent for every referral, and 0.001 to 0.005$ for various activities. I am not going to post any blogs there.
I got paid by Blogjob in spite of all the difficulties it faced. I really hope it gets back on its feet. Otherwise I am really done with online writing. I'll just spend some time here to say hi to my friends or for some light hearted chatter but no more sites for me.

@Rollo1 I've already claimed the names of my two main blogs at Blogspot and was thinking of continuing my blogs there and linking back to my old posts at BlogJob. Now this morning I can't even find BlogJob, just a blank webpage, so I don't know whether that will be an option. Thankfully I kept copies of everything I posted.

@Dawwriter Thanks for sharing that information about Literacy Base and confirming my feeling that it's not the place for me. Don't give up on writing though. If all else fails, try Blogspot. You may not earn as much, but at least your work will be a bit more secure there.

I haven't heard of it. Knowing me, though, I'll probably go check it out anyway.

I never heard of Literacy Base. It does not sound like it is doing very well. I would not trust a site that gave no clue as to what the pay will be.
I just looked it up and it is written rather awkwardly. There is no mention of payment, only points. It seems that their main focus is helping people learn about different things. I am not signing up for it.

I am afraid I have not heard of this site. I am usually quite slow at joining sites.

I have not tried that, but it appears that Blogjob is gasping for survival this week.

I haven't gone there @Rollo1 . Mylot works for me. You're right about so many sites popping up and then they disappear.

I have little hope for all these sites. I think making money is done elsewhere, and by that, I don't mean at a writing site.

I don't think that it's possible to make real money at these kinds of sites, but a lot of little internet activities can add to a nice bonus. But there's no chance for some of these copycat sites at all, and people do get disappointed regularly.

I visit the site but the FAQ and rewards are missing. The pages cannot be found.

I didn't like blogjob because of their point system. I looked at Literacy Base, and it's basically the same thing.

Oh I joined but I deleted my account after 10 HOURS now I could say it is the WORST site I joined with since 2012.
After spending time tweeting and sharing LiteracyBase articles on my Facebook pages, Google+ and Tumblr, I earned $0.8800 and received a message from support...
