Diabetes is genetic in our family and none of my father's siblings were spared by it. So we try to check our blood sugar on a regular basis. It's in the food we eat. It's in the amount of rice we consume, it's in the bread, etc. But since I can't avoid eating those, i exercise. I cycle with an average speed of 25kmph to sweat it out. And just because you're young doesn't mean you will be spared. I know a 7 year old who has higher blood sugar count than you.

@elsiemanjuyod Yes please, for your own health. But it's really difficult to control our food intake, I'd advise you to enrol in a health club for zumba classes that may help you sweet a lot. Do some exercise that you enjoy on a regular basis. Stay happy and healthy!
