Just to make the site free for everyone maybe..because some cannot concentrate if their is added sounds around.. but for some they could think better if their is music present around.

That would eliminate the money we make, because it would cost so much to pay for the music. Anytime music is used commercially royalties must be paid.
I listen to music all the time while working on myLot. You can play your iTunes in another window, have YouTube or Spotify or TuneIn in another window, or Sirius/XM playing. What stops you from listening that way?

yes obviously i am playing from my drive as that option is not available on this site.. if we look at it in a broader way listening from a drive or youtube or another source does not suit everybody, just like my suggestion did not suit you.. there may b lots of members who would agree with me.. rest its always upto the operators of this site.

@phoenixontheway it really depends on what people want to listen to.. and few may not even be interested in listening at all. i am just suggesting .
