Is MyLot a good platform to promote Blog ?

we can put the link to our blog in our profile,and we can also talk about other sites here, but not openly/directly/aggressively solicit people.

You may put your blog link into your profile and people will see it there, but you can't post it in a discussion and then be like "Hey guys. Look at my blog".

@cupkitties But I can put my blog on nd have zero monetary gain at this time. There are plenty of links that I have seen which jump to commercial sites that will make more money from the links than any individual blogger.

Even though you can link your blog in your profile, you may not direct people there and you may not promote anything on myLot. If a person wants to know about your blog or anything else that is not a discussion, they have the option of sending you a private message.

There are times when I will add a link as a part of my response, that way there are external links into my blog. I normally only do this if I have an appropriate link. MyLot does bring a certain amount of traffic.
Magazines seem to be going out of style in the current era with people getting their information on-line, yet they offer many lessons of style for the blogger.
