Random Word Post – okapi

I find a random word by flipping through my 2003 The New Webster’s Concise Dictionary and write a quick – often silly – little post about it. # “okapi – A small African ruminant related to the giraffe, but with a shorter neck.” There’s a small illustration of okapi, and it looks just like a donkey, or a horse with maybe a hint of zebra stripes. So it’s not a giraffe with only like, half a neck, but like a horse with a weird relative.
