P.S. This.discussion came out from @Tampa_girl7 's discussion about.new shower. Tabo at timba. Water dipper and bucket or pail. Some parts of the world may be using shower or tub in taking a.bath, but here, we Pinoys (Filipinos), has.our own "stuff" in taking a bath. These pair goes well. How? Of course the bucket or pail has to be filled with water, either.from.a faucet or from the pump. Then that water.dipper will "scoop" those water. It is.up to you what has to.be poured first, hair or the.body. Actually it depends on the coldness of weather. Lol. The pair is used in watering.plants.too.

@Lucky15 but there was a study that it is actually better to stay under the shower because all of your body gets wet with the splashes of water, while in a bucket, you may need 2 to n3 dippers of water to completely wet your body. it is more economical, as stated in that study.

I did not realize people still used this method for bathing. My mother tells stories about times years ago, before having a tub. She used a wash pan.

It's not something I do very often (only on holiday in India when the water's not very good) but I rather enjoy a bucket bath.

Yes, those are the parts of our Pinoy lifestyle. Believe me, some Pinoys abroad are still using dipper even if they have shower and bath tub.
