Why are food-related decision so difficult for some people?

I want to know. I've wondered this for a while now, is there specific psychology behind it? Where do you want to go for dinner? What should we have for dinner? Etc.

There is that question. Maybe the question should be who is going to make it. The cook always seems to have to come up with something.

I've just heard couples fight over it and it makes me laugh!

@TurnipZombie I find it goes I would like "that" but that isn't in the fridge or the cupboard. What do then? Take out or go out.

@Bluedoll Well I love cooking and creating new recipes all of the time, I've only made something I couldn't end up eating once. So I'm usually prepared.

Too many choices. We would often do much better if we only had one or two choices :)

That describes my son, even as a baby.

@GardenGerty My husband and I always had trouble deciding on a place to eat. It even led to a silly argument once! lol

None, the issue for me is there are so many ingredients my family must avoid that it is hard to find a place we all can eat at and it fits their diet or allergies. Than determine if the place we want to go will have an issue doing special orders due to health related issues or allergies.

I do not find it difficult at all. When we eat out, I always let me my husband make the decision where to go.

I don't even understand your question. Why don't YOU tell us what you think?

I think many people are over-calculating and over-thinking their decisions with food ^^ I just eat what I want, and what my body tells me what he wants ^^ I did so many diets and calorie-counting and stuff, that I am just sick and tired of it ^^

Sometimes there are too many choices and choosing one eliminates the other and they feel they have lost something. Other times people just are not motivated by food.

sorry totally distracted by your name. Fascinated by the concept of a turnip, being a zombie. What does it crave? V8?

sometimes we tend to eat what we prefer to eat, and a good conversation will help in the imbibing and digestion of these meals.
