Last night my oldest daughter spent the night, even after we had some unpleasant words between each other, which brought me to tears. I don't think she understands that I am really trying to make everything ok, even though it isn't right now. She almost didn't spend the night. :( When she woke up, I made her a smoothie and she asked me what pants would look better with her jacket. I think that is a plus. She is going to a birthday party today, so I didn't get to spend a whole lot of time with her, but it was better than nothing. I miss her so much. One month from tomorrow she will be 16!
