Does your name shape your destiny?

I like read about the origin and the meaning of my name and the names of my parents/friends. And I found a lot of characteristics that really describe me, the way how I react to people and situations of my life. It makes me believe that the name given to a child will form his personality. What do you think? Does a name really matter?

I often wonder what names mean, and that they shape your personality.

I don't think a name matters.. only that sometimes it fits well with the person who was given that name. But not at all time. But still when I choose the name of my son I search for the ones with good meaning.
