Your Amazon password has been changed...... Got this email from Amazon but i cant see why they`d contact me using an adress i did not use to register and they did not use my name to address me. There was the Amazon logo but im thinking this is a spam but not sure what to do.Im worried if l change my password and the email was fake. Im confused and the worst part, im not sure of my Amazon password for l saved it and never changed it as there was no need as I only go to Amazon from my computer. What would you do?

I'd ignore it. It's probably a fake phishing email.

This is surely a SPAM, do not follow their instructions. Which browser are you using? If you use Chrome you possibly can see which is your Amazon saved password. If you cannot find it, I should contact Amazon from inside your account and ask them a password reset.

@miniam I saved my password using Chrome, to see them, go to settings, search for "Manage Password", you will get the list, when you see the asterisk you can ask to show the password.

Can you call them. I make sure it wasn't a scammer doing this.

@miniam ....Then I would take it to be a scam and I would want to alert Amazon to this.

I received the same exact email a few months ago. It is a scam for sure. The sender is trying to get your information so that they can access your account. I can not stand phishers!

I would do nothing with the email. I would go to amazon.com, get their phone number and call them to see if the email did come from them or not and go from there.

I'd e-mail customer service, and talk to them instead. Because if it was authentic they'd be able to tell you.

I have been sent messages when I do change my password. They want to make sure that it is truly me performing this action.
