Feel Like You've been Ripped-Off in the Stores Lately?

Whether because of the price, the quantity, or the quality, have you recently felt like you've been ripped off in the stores? What was the item? What was the rip-off? Frankly, the problem, at least in my estimate, is a rapidly growing one in the U.S. I can't speak about other countries, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is similar in some of those.

So many products are made with both eyes on the bottom line, they are nowhere the equal of stuff I've gotten only a few years before

The problem is two-fold. Quality goes down, but prices go up. No, not at the rate of inflation, but higher than that! That's the new norm.

I find that the quality of merchandise is pitiful these days, unless you pay a fortune for the items. Talking about clothing here. As far as food is concerned, the packages are getting smaller and the prices keep going higher and higher. Meanwhile, salaries are not moving adequately.

Even though salaries are not up much (or at all), costs are. This is because store owners are greedy and want all your money for nothing. Since they can't honestly (or dishonestly) expect that will happen, they have to be content giving you just as little as they possibly can for as much as they can possibly get, while blaming other "factors" for their "dilemma."
