I find a random word by flipping through my 2003 The New Webster’s Concise Dictionary and write a quick – often silly – little post about it.
#
“frangible – Easily broken; fragile. From Latin frangere to break.”
So if you ever see a box marked “frangible,” don’t drop it.

This is a good read.
I've never seen a box with "FRANGIBLE" marked on it. Usually, I see the word FRAGILE.
Just wondering why is there a need for frangible if we already have fragile, the latter being the more common word. It might confuse some and they might drop the box.

@rona07 Breakable items are tangible and at the same time fragile. They probably combined it and came up with frangible.
