I posted a while ago wondering what had happened to our friend 'Wetnosedogs', as she hadn't been active here since November. I'd left a PM for her, and her daughter messaged me back. It turned out that she had a brain aneurysm, and had been very ill. A lot of you joined me in wishing her a full recovery, so I thought I'd give you the latest news about her. I was getting worried as I'd heard nothing for a while, but yesterday I got the following message: "May 7 Hi! This is her daughter again! She is recovering wonderfully! She is still getting used to using the laptop and sending messages, so be patient. She will be back on here soon! Thank you for all checking on her. She just told me that she has been checking her messages and has tried responding but had a little bit of difficulty. Her dogs were super happy to be back home and they are taking good care of her. :)" Isn't that great news? . My photo

Her daughter's message is a great news indeed, my dear Momma! I hope she recovers fast! This reminds me. I really need to update any of our daughters who are still in the Philippines, with us, about my FB, etc. At least, in case I "get lost" again, any of them can communicate through you, my dear Momma, or through my dearest Manay @crazyhorseladycx .

@KnehKnah Yes, she may be back here soon. That would be a good idea to update your daughters, though hopefully it won't be needed.

@cpefley She was on here daily prior to suddenly disappearing in November, so I was worried about her. Fortunately her daughter picked up my message.

A fabulous outcome, I wonder if it was operated on. A friend has been living with a brain aneurysm for some time. the idea scares me.

@MsTickle Yes it's a very scary thing, and I know a lot of people don't recover. I'm just grateful that wetnose has beaten it.

@allen0187 I check on any friend that I haven't seen for a while, but the only way to do it is through the personal message system. In most cases no-one gets back to me, so this was a good result.

That's wonderful. I don't know Wetnosedogs (but I love her username) but I have had friends who are missing, some who come back while others do not. I'm glad your friend will be active here when she is able to.

@jaboUK aneurysm runs in families. A sister in law my age had one and lived with very little long turm problems., she was in her early 20's another sister in law had one in her early 30's. and didn't make it through it. We adopted her 4 year old, . All the other sisters of my husband,s family have been checked to make sure it doesn't happen to them. Our own children and the children of the other sisters know it could happen to them so were warned not ignore a headache and to let their doctors that it is in their family.
