Getting up early and brushing your teeth using the branded tooth pastes and brushes only cleanses your teeth. What you require for healthy teeth is not only cleaning but also maintenance of shining, healthy, germfree teeth without any cavities and other dental problems. The Foods we take not only provide some strength but their prevelance in the mouth may cause dental problems. Even certain fruits will affect your teeth and even some dry fruits and nuts will participate in removing the enamel of your teeth.
Fruits like Mangoes and , Cherries will be rich in Sucrose and this is a food for the bacteria in your mouth. This causes building up of plaques and production of Lactic Acid which in turn cause erosion of your teeth;
Dry fruits and Nuts like peanuts, cashews are acidic in content and damage your tooth as they eat away the enamel.
Certain fruits and other foodstuffs should not be kept in the mouth for long hours and must be disposed off quickly down the mouth as they are more useful some other parts of your body. .

Yes, too much of sodas, cold drinks, acidic foods and junk causes not only tooth decay but other major problems as it has proven that some of them contains pesticides (in mild quantities). We are moving along withe culture, so what we can do is not make a habit of taking them frequently.
