When do you wake up?

Are you an early riser?
Or the sun is already in the mid sky when you open your eyes?
Well, I belong to the second category. I am a hopeless late riser, as I stay awake late at night. I know that's a very unhealthy thing to do but it has turned to a routine and I can't escape it that easily!
So, when do you wake up?

I'm a morning person and I usually wake up at 6am. I have the need to sleep early because of the early morning wake up time.

"Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise."
Too bad I'm unable to follow Franklin's advice.
I stay up until midnight and the baby drags me out of bed around 7am.
He's a strong kid.
If not for his demands to be changed, fed, and dressed for the day (Sheesh! What does he think I AM? His "keeper" or something? Oh. Yeah. Hm.) then I'd be able to sleep in to, at least, 8 am.

I usually open my eyes at 5.30 AM, and get up at 6.00 from bed. THen, I eat breakfast at home or on my way to the place where I work.

@Dishari No, the beauty of being retired is that I never have to be in a routine.

Well the response to that depends on the person’s age. A school child will always be a early morning person. A college student living in the hostels mostly happen to be in your category and once out in the big bad world they have to assume responsibilities of their parents and raise to the morning breeze and I tell you with experience it’s awesome!

Well, there is a difference between the two topics you ask about and what actually happens here at my house.
I only take naps normally, instead of sleeping long hours like other people... So when do my eyes open and when do I rise are two totally different subjects.
Take today, for example. I opened my eyes at 5 am but am still laying in my bed at 4 pm. (I am on vacation so don't have to get out of bed at all today unless I want to... and I don't want to! LOL!)
In what way is being lazy bad for my health? (No, I don't really want to know, as I am already aware of the scientific proofs. I simply am not interested in them.)
Hello Dishari! I hope you are well today! (grinning at you!)

Haha! Me too! I have discovered that my brain works better at midnight. And I have even noticed that I sometimes feel healthier at night. It is supposed to be the opposite!

Oh I understand. Once upon a time I used to have swimming classes in the morning. Those days were horrible!
