With iPhoto, how do you take the mirror image of a pic?

I took a picture of something with words on it using the computer so I need the mirror image of it to make it readable. How do you do this with a Mac? I only have iPhoto

I don't think you can do this with IPhoto. Flipping it horizontal or vertical, yes. But I haven't found mirror yet. I'm not sure if Apple is using a different term for mirror.
