What is a dollar worth in your country?
Last month the minimum here on Mylot was a dollar but normally 10, what is a dollar worth in your country?
Here in the UK, a dollar is worth about 67 pence, £0.67 and you can’t buy much if it, maybe a candy bar, but that all. $10 would get you a meal at Macdonald’s with some change. It would also buy a gallon a gas/petrol, with a little change too.
Maybe there are more things you could buy with a dollar in the UK but I can’t think of any right now.
So is a dollar worth a lot in your country, what could you buy with it?

A dollar here is not much but you can buy a few things with it such as a candy bar, soda, or some food. There are dollar stores where everything is a dollar all sorts of household items, etc.

A dollar is worth 17.37 pesos. With this money, I can eat for the whole day, living frugally; however, no other person can, just me. In my country, a person normally needs from three to five dollars to make his/her day.

@kevin1877uk I´m supposing, a person buys food at a small restaurant, out of the house; however, with 5 dollars (75 pesos), a person can fix food for two people at home, expending wisely.

@LadyDuck I think a litre is is about £0.79-89 so about $1.18-1.1.30
2 litres is around £1.40 so $2.10 you may find it cheaper if a store is doing a deal or price cut.

Yes one candy bar.
3 1/2 gallons of gas.
Two meals at McDonald`s .
But a penny is a penny, a dollar is a dollar. Save them and soon you`ll have more money than you know what to do with :)

Since I'm in the US it's worth a dollar. However, what it will buy is another thing altogether. Even taking advantage of the dollar menus at fast food places you still have to pay over for the tax. You might get a candy bar. I think those are .75. It really doesn't go very far.

I can buy a bottle of my favorite gin(Ginebra San Miguel) here in our country the Philippines. A small bottle is good enough to make me sleep and find myself an hour of relief from the stress of hard work and family problem. I'll try to make two dollars before withdrawing to pay for PayPal fees. Lol.

A dollar is equivalent to P47.00 (47 pesos) and we can buy one kilo of rice, or 5 apples, or one liter of gasoline with a little change.
