Have you ever taken chemical peels?

I have taken chemical peels once in my life when i had terrible hormonal imbalance and because of which terrible acne breakout everywhere esp on face and hand. I have also very delicate skin which gets scars easily.No matter how much i take care there are time i get pimple once in a while.Also i get lot of tan because of harsh heat in this region. My first experience of taking peels was scary but looking back it was not that much difficult thing and i got rid of of my acne problem 99% percent.So result was very good. I am planning to take peels once again.How about you?Have you taken peels for making your skin bright or to get rid of your pimple problems?
