In January 2015 I earned enough on the Receiptpal app to get a $5 amazon gift card code. I used the lowest cash out amount at the time so that way I could make sure the app was legit before I continued with them. Now I have finally earned enough (7500 points) to get a $25 egiftcard. I chose Walmart and just printed out the egiftcard. I am so happy! That sure took along time to get to that amount but it was easy. All I had to do was snap a photo of my receipts and submit them. Each one was worth 25 points. There is a limit to how many receipts you can submit each week. They changed things recently now as well so you have to submit your receipts within the month you purchased them but at the end of the month there is a forgiveness of three days.

They have more choices then they used to but right now what I see on there is Amazon, Best Buy, Lowes, Home Depot, Regal, Target, Walmart and iTunes.

@trivia79 I do not shop on ebay much any more which is where I used to spend the most of my paypal money. So earning money through paypal is not as much of an incentive as other things for me.

I'll have to check this out. Could be pretty lucrative deal. I shop for so many and could use their receipts too.

@shaggin It says that they are not accepting anymore applicants at this time. Oh well. Maybe I'll try in a month.

I hope that you have gotten to check it out and are liking it. If you shop a lot you will earn points fast just by taking a picture and showing them your receipts. Its so easy I love it.

Can the receipts be used from any store or certain ones? As I am looking for an app I can use receipts from any grocery store. As I like to go to different ones to in order to save money while shopping.

You can use any receipt. Ibotta only lets me do certain stores and I hate that. Checkout51 and receiptpal I can use any store receipt.

@miniam I agree. It will be very helpful. I like to save my earnings for the largest pay out so that way if I have to print out the egiftcards it isn't so often that I am using up ink like if I cashed out at $5 increments all the time.

I think I have looked into this app before, and it's on my list of apps to get when I get a new phone. (My current phone does not support a lot of the reward apps, so I'm looking forward to an upgrade.)

That is how my phone is as well. I only have one app on there that is point earning and it is Blockrow Classic. All the other apps like ReceiptPal I use on my ipod. My phone is fairly new but just doesn't allow a lot of apps or it messes up really bad. I hate it.

Yes it is an app and all you do is take a photo of your receipt and upload it and submit it. Its very simple but it is the only way to earn points on that app.
