Write what you want or write what they want.

There are these two sites. One where you can write whatever you want and any number of posts having a minimum of 300 words and for that you are paid 5 cents an article. Rejections are mostly limited.
The other site will give you a subject on which you need to write, there is a time limit by which you should submit the article. There is no guarantee your article will be accepted. The length of the article here is also 300 words and you are paid1.50 dollars an article.
What would be your choice?

There are issues that need to be compared before knowing what to do!!

The one that pays more is a bit risky as if I am rejected my rating will go down.

There are a lot of writers who would be in this predicament. Just getting the community's opinion

@AkoPinay Yes it will surely do that. It is quite a strain. Blogjob is the best of all I think. Easy to earn 50 cents in a day.

Definitely the latter if the goal is to make money. Thats my opinion at least. As longa as they are not outlandish topics.5 cents for 300 words is well...not good. I am a member of Bitlanders but have not been active there. Knowing this now I may not ever be active there. Lol.

All said and done myLot is a place where one can relax. Earning is an issue though if you do not get many responses leading to interactions. We depend on others here.

does your byline appear in both sites?
do you only get paid one time (upon submission)?

There is one more issue. The site that pays 5 cents will pay you when you accumulate 10 dollars whereas the other will pay you when you accumulate 20 dollars. You have an opportunity to write more than 300 words whenever there is need for it and for that they will pay you around 2.5 dollars.

As you know Blogjob is hanging in the air. I need to write. myLot is not a place where we write but just hang around and so 5 cents could perhaps be my choice or concentrate on my own blog

@allknowing Yes I too think that would be the best option--under the circumstances.

That is what I think too. But since Blogjob has taken a sabbatical of sorts and I need to write I will perhaps choose the 5 cents or just drop it and concentrate on my garden blog.

I don't really like time limits. But I do like that with Textbroker the time limit is usually a day.

A good writer alike a good speaker has the ability to put across her/his thoughts in whichever fashion the situation demands. Just as in a job interview when I sit on the compromising side of the table I wish for the employer to know what I am good at but I cannot decide his/her questions for him/her but I can deviate my response slightly from the original enquiry enough to spark an interest in what I want him/her to know. Hence not distorting his/her skeleton questionnaire but simply adding meat to it.
So I suggest you go for the paid on as at the end of every article you’d emerge a better writer for which you’d be paid. How awesome is that? But remind yourself always of what you want the crowd to know and serve then that every time in a different dish.
Calm seas never made good sailors!

That is the point. At the end of every article there is no guarantee my articles will be accepted and if they are rejected my ranking goes down.

@As_Far There is a ranking limit set there to be able to write. I can write now but I have this fear of articles being rejected for no apparent reason.

@allknowing Then your concern is fiscal. I'm afraid friend, unless absolutely necessary money/ratings/likes must be shed aside! Worry less go for it!
