Hubby and I watched as some really nasty looking clouds came around yesterday afternoon. He loves to scare me, saying something about a tornado coming. (He only does that when there is no real danger.)
Little did we know this would happen about an hour later, about 50 miles north of us. This is probably the best tornado video I have ever seen! It really shows what a tornado looks like, up close and too personal!

Glad it didn't get to close to you. We had a gloomy day with some rain, and more rain today.

Me too, @fishtiger58 Tornadoes scare the "you know what" out of me! So far today, the sun is shining and it should be a beautiful day!

@sgbrown I live in the middle part of the country, the thought of a hurricane scares me more. The ocean is a powerful thing.

@fishtiger58 It is and hurricanes also produce tornadoes! I'm glad I don't live in "hurricane country"!

Those video clips are so awfully scary. We've only had 1 tornado touch down in our area that I can recall. It did a lot of damage, and it wasn't of the same magnitude that these are.
We're in for a cloudy and somewhat wet day today, not a nice day really. I hope that you have a nice day.

They are scary, @RubyHawk Several years ago, a small community just west of us was hit hard. Several people were killed and many homes were destroyed. A small tornado came through our property and took out some trees and we found part of a camper trailer on our pond dam. We were very lucky!
