Random Word Post – benison

I find a random word by flipping through my 2003 The New Webster’s Concise Dictionary and write a quick – often silly – little post about it. # “benison – A benediction; blessing.” I’m in a writing critique group, and I was reading one story yesterday and came across this word I didn’t know. From the context of the sentence, I had a good idea what it was, but I had to look it up to be sure. And I figured that was a good excuse to use it today.

Good to know. You have my benison! It's interesting because MyLot puts the red squiggly lines underneath it like it's spelled wrong. Maybe they should update their spell check or dictionary. Lol.

@EddieHands always includes "Blessings!" in his comments or responses to discussions. He can also use "Benisons!"
