Bad, Bad Kitty!

While planting my flowers, yesterday, Doodles, the cat, meowed to go outside. I let him out on the deck, thinking I could keep an eye on him while working. Afterall, I know all the areas he visits.
Imagine my fear when I didn't see him! My husband and I called, walked the neighborhood, drove around, searched everywhere. But no Doodles.
In the photo is a picture of our neighbor's extra 6 car garage where Doodles once visited. I thought he may be behind it. So off I went into the woods. I screamed like a wildwoman when I stepped on a snake den. Scary snakes slithered out all around me. I ran screaming home. My worst fear came true!
On the otherhand, after two hours of being gone, Doodles returned home through the woods. I saw him coming. I was never so happy nor relieved.
What a frightening day!

so the next time he wants to join you while you're gardening, will you let him or put him on a leash in case he does it again?

@hereandthere Yes. I called crying, and he was on the way here when Doodles came out of the woods. I called him to tell him to turn the car around and go home. I can't take my eyes off that fat cat for a minute.

i have never heard a den of snakes and then you see them all slithering.. A creepy situation indeed. For me one is good enough.

Whoa your neighbor has a 6 car garage! And, you stepped in a snake den. I would be terrified too! I'm glad Doodles came home safely after 2 hours of being gone! No more letting Doodles out of sight hehe.

Pretty flowers, but I see no garage in that photo. I thought maybe your cat destroyed all those lovely flowers the way this started out. Glad he made it safely home. Is Doodle a he or she? Maybe you'll be seeing kitties one day?

I would have been pooping my pants @DianneN (snakes). Darn Doodles anyway. It only takes them a second to disappear.
