Anyone like Twitter Moments?

Twitter Moments is a relatively new feature on that social site. Personally I find it a huge waste of space because it is driven by what is in the news (something that I am not particularly interested in and to be honest there are dozens of existing ways to see the news. The concept of Twitter Moments is good, provide quick updates on subjects, but to my mind this should be driven by updates from my own following not those News organisations who already have a mighty reach. Have you taken a look at Twitter Moments? What are your thoughts?

I have forgotten my password of twitter. I didn't like twitter in all seriousness. So, "twitter moments" are not going to be on my radar.

@pgiblett I never really used it. Just made an account, spent a day or two there. It didn't hold my attention.

@Daljinder I use Twitter every day, although with my twitter apps misbehaving at the moment it is sometimes a little painful.

@Marty1 I post most things that I write on Twitter and get a fair number of readers from the site, it is a good marketing tool.

I am not sure these moments are something coming readily to my mobile app. So, no... in all probability I have not seen it, or passed it as just another tweeter thing. Recently my OS updated itself. Not really loving the way this new combination works...

OS updates are essential but they can sometimes screw things up. Happened to my Facebook app on Windows 10 recently and Twitter app on Android.

I have twitter account but i don't open it anymore . I prefer this site and sometimes FB . They are more than enough to take my small extra time .

The point is I have no desire to follow News Services, I hear too much of their stuff as it is. The people I wish to hear from are those I follow, they have something valuable for me to hear.

Haven't looked at Twitter Moments so I'm reserving my opinion about it. I use Twitter a lot though so checking this out my be worth it.

You do not pay them so they will not listen to you. The news organization pays them to feature the news! I just wonder about the commercial arrangement, and whether Twitter will be profitable or not.

I have never seen one until today. I am on twitter once in a while and my husband is on daily. I read the paper in the morning and watch the national news at night. That's enough for me...

I do keep up to date with the news, but I neither purchase newspapers nor watch TV news. I am of the mindset that 99% of what is in the news is irrelevant to our daily lives, I focus in on those bits that are relevant only.

I have been regularly using Twitter for sharing my posts, as well as Times of India Online articles. Yet I did not hear of Twitter moments. I am not even sure if this is still active today!

I can turn of the TV for news and I made the choice not to watch a long time ago.
