A New Kind of Beer

Did anyone watch the tv show "The Doctors" this morning? I happened to be in the waiting room at the car dealership waiting to pick up my truck from a service appointment, and I caught a few minutes of the show. This morning, the doctors were talking about a new type of beer that has originated out of Poland. GROSS FACTOR 10 ALERT! This might get a little gross, so if things gross you out easily, I would suggest you stop reading!!! Apparently in Poland, there is a beer made from the lactic acid of a woman's vagina, which--according to those who have sampled it--tastes like champagne! Although the show didn't go into detail (thank goodness!), apparently there is a way to harvest the juices from a woman's vagina, and safely use it to make beer. According to the report, there are mechanisms in place to ensure that the lactic acid is free from bacteria or other harmful germs. A healthy model from the Czech Republic was used to make the initial batch of beer. With the abundance of lactic acid readily available in the world today, why in the name of all that is good would someone want to make beer from a woman's vaginal juices? And I don't know if the fact that it tastes like champagne is a good or bad thing! Ok, I told you this was gross! Don't be mad at me if you found this disturbing, because I sure did when I saw the story on tv! What are you thoughts on this?

Got to have been an April Fool's joke... Mind you, most of us consume products derived from what comes from a cow's, goat's, sheep's, horse's or camel's udder without batting an eyelid...

It very well could be. Obviously, I think it's something that would be difficult to mass produce, unless there were millions of women eagerly lining up to have lactic acid removed from their nether regions.

@ramapo17 I'm right there with you on that...I really wonder about the world today as well. It was funny though, while the segment was on, there were about 10 people in the dealership's waiting room, all but two of us women. The eight or so women had their eyes glued to the tv, and us two guys were like "Are you kidding?" lol finally, the other guy asked somebody to please get up and change the channel!

Isn't it amazing the things they put on tv these days. My parents would be totally shocked and get rid of the tv.

The scary part is, nothing seems to be shocking these days, or off limits, or out of bounds. A complete decay of our mores and values.

My thoughts are that the producers of the show must have been hard up for anything of substance to include in their program. Just because something happens in the world, doesn't mean that it is worthy of airtime on television. How about something of value, and not just sensational subjects? What ever happened to integrity? Now there would be a topic of interest.

I agree with your assessment! The entire episode on this particular day seemed to be filled with crap that really wasn't newsworthy in my mind. I guess they were scraping the bottom of the barrel on this particular day.

@moffittjc This type of thing happens far too often. They even covered a fight at a high school on the news this week. It was nothing out of the ordinary, just a couple of boys swinging at each other. That news? I don't think so.
