Many people have lice in their hair. The lice either comes from other people or from water or some other carrier.
But they cause itching and are destructive for the scalp. They lay eggs and that increases the growth of lice. They are parasites.
Children are affected more than others. They get the lice from head to head contact in the school from friends.
There are thin combs which if used properly can bring the lice out. Isopropyl alcohol kills lice but when applied in hair they make the hair dry.

@cacay1 Thanks Erly for the comments. Yes students are helpless. Their parents should make effort to get the lice out of the head.

Yes Slayer, rice reduces hair growth, more than that they eat into the scalp and the scalp can bleed also.

Thanks Erly for the comments. It is difficult for the victim to understand what is the reason of irritation in the hair. They think it is dandruff, but it might be lice.
