As I raised our bedroom shades this morning, I checked to see if mama robin was sitting in her nest. She must have been looking for breakfast for herself, because what I found was a birds eye view of her eggs!
I always loved that shade of blue eggs.
I'm so happy no other animal got them. She is now in her nest keeping them warm.
How precious is that?

That's so neat! I hope the nest and eggs are in a very safe place. That's quite a shade of blue - I don't think I've ever seen eggs like that in any nest out here! And you got the best view . . . you'll be able to take some great pics!

You and a few others here are telling us success stories of having gone through the birth of baby birds with their parents. Do watch out and get back with more reporting.

The blue of those eggs are amazing. All natural! No food color additives!

How lovely, and what a wonderful photo you got of the eggs. I hope you are able to get a picture of the babies, when they arrive, too!
