I received my notice of renewal of my Driver's License this week and was pleasantly surprised to see it had gone down in cost.
"Your good driving record and the increasingly safe behaviour of Quebecers on the road have a direct impact on the number of accident victims, which has allowed us to reduce the amount of your insurance contributions." We are also going to get a reduction on our vehicle registration, so total savings will be about $65 each year up until 2018.
So when prices are rising on so many things, it was great to get some good news for a change.

Yes it was. I hadn't heard anything about it on the news.

Anything that goes down in price is a big plus in my book. Sadly I haven't seen much of that with my own personal bills and expenses

You are right, everything else seems to go up each month.

I am so thankful that I have not had any accidents or tickets. This is not the easiest city to drive in.
