That's the plan. Get to the $10.00 cash out amount and then I'm outta here. With summer coming I'll be busy at work and I don't really do that well here. Oh a few of my posts get read and commented on and I appreciate that but I can't do what I'm good at here-writing stories. This just isn't the place for it and the fact they the few I have written were ignored pretty much tells me nobody wants to read them here. I'm okay with that because most people aren't here for that reason.
Of course I'll stop in and comment on posts when I can.

I think it is because most of the posts are meant to initiate a discussion.
Writing stories here will make commenters read it but doubt that they would comment on what you have written. Are you on wattpad? I think that would be a perfect avenue for your stories though I have not tried it yet personally.

I'm not on wattpad. I never had a problem getting people to read and comment on my stories at a defunct site I won't mention the name of.

@irishidid that can also be because you are on a writer's site? Compared to mylot wherein people are more into sparking a conversation.

@irishidid Same. Though if I remember correctly (because it has been a while since I read your book) it wasn't boring, it was good and I mentioned that in the review I wrote.

@Carmelanirel2 Yes you did and you have read my short stories so you know I can write. Writing articles and such really isn't my thing. A couple of people have mentioned wattpad which, from what I've read doing a search is pretty much a critique site and in my experience most people doing critiques have no clue how to do them.

You will be missed, but I understand and I can also relate to people not wanting to read my work, whether because it is me or my genre, I have no idea. However, are you going to do PitMad June 9?

If I could find my niche here I'd stay but I don't see that happening.

@irishidid I'm not here for my writing other than to update people on my novels. I only recently learned about PitMad myself from one of my writing sites. You more or less pitch your novel on Twitter in 140 characters or less on certain dates with a hashtag. Then on that day, agents will search twitter to find a new author. Here is the link I was given with more info and the dates:

That's the pits. I love your stories but have really struggled to get online here. It's not letting me sign in until now!
