Life with herbs

Several years ago I went to an herbalist on a lark and found her very interesting. It wasn't something I thought I'd do much but a health crisis sent me back to her a decade ago and I believe she saved my life when doctors could do nothing. This lead me on the path to studying herbology, iridology, muscle testing, and learning about flower essences and essential oils. I've made a cottage business and helped my health immensely with use of these products and lifestyle changes! Do you ever use alternative health items or ideas in your life?

You reminded me of something. At work I found a vial of essential oils. Says for stress (they gave it to the medical students when they were studying for their boards). Ingredients are lavender, peppermint and almond oil. Supposedly you are to put it on your pulse points.

You can also put it in the bath (four or five drops) and also behind the ears and on the back of the neck. The lavender will relax muscles if you have a headache or a stiff neck from work. Peppermint is a Yang herb; meaning it pulls out things away from the body so it will work to pull out heat from inflammation and toxins in the system too.

Oh and you can also put it on the bottoms of your feet too.

I do, in fact I am studying 'Holistic Skincare Products ' and I have learned so much more than I had thought. I have a good amount of knowledge on the essential oils, they can do a lot good. Oil therapy is something wonderful.

Yes, I do.
I have a very good friend who is into the same things you are into. She has plants of all kinds growing around her house. Almost every time I go see her she hands me a bag full of some type of plant she thinks I will like.
I already had a yard full of plants before I met her, but I keep crowding in more of them.
Some of the plants are edible, some aren't. Most of mine do have some type of healing powers. I enjoy learning about them and telling others about them.
Do you know me from another site or something? I have no clue what you meant by your comment a while ago.

I use essential oils. And most of my skin care, hair care products are herbal.
