Do animals have the same rights as humans? Are animals the property of humans?
This is Just a discussion.

Animals have the same basic rights as humans - food, shelter, warmth & love. Animals aren't the property of humans I don't think, but we have to make sure that we do watch out for our pets, look after them when they are ill and not mistreat them. They have no voice of their own. It is up to us to be the voice for them.

animals dont and i think it is bs. they get abused all the time and have to deal with it bc they cant call 911 or tell someone i think it is horrible. I also think that the punishment for animal abusers should be much much harsher bc then maybe people would think twice about hurting a poor innocent animal.

ANimals are not the property of humans. Not even pets should be considered so. They should be allowed to live with their so called 'masters'only if they choose to do so. Otherwise they should be set free. Right now they don't have the same rights as humans.... but in my opinion... they should have and where my decisions will be held in high regard..... they will have the same rights as humans.

i think yes.Because animals r also required to balance all the cycle in the nature and a we r living here they should be also living because as we the rights tolive in the planet they r having the rights too.If we cant protect them this will leed to disaster to animals so we should help them to survive.

Animals do not have the same right as humans and probably shouldn't I noticed one reply that set they should be set free if they don't want to live with you.. this would be cruel you could find a new home but you cant just let them go...
I think our cruelty laws need to be much harsher and that we should rethink what is considered a basic neeed.. in Canada nothing can be done if an animal has housing food and shelter thats fine but what about all the dogs tied to trees with a dog house and some hay for shelter.. security dogs who live alone and basically have no human contact other then too be fed to me that is cruelty...
Then there is all the animal testing how is this normal??? I couldn't live with myself if I purposely inflicted pain on anything .. I don't even kill flies though cause i feel too bad..
