For the past few days, It has been really hot. The heat felt really provides discomfort and tremendous sweating. What is going on with our climate? The heat index is a quantity expressing the discomfort felt as a result of the combined effects of the temperature and humidity of the air. In the news, it was reported that some region in the Philippines is experiencing a 51 degrees Celsius. This quite alarming and heatstroke is imminent. A lot of people are suffering from severe dehydration. What can we do to prevent this from happening? Is this the effect of Global Warming?

OMG! 51 degree Celsius? It's buying hot. We have to use sunscreen and drink a lot of water.

Yes, It was but it was a combination of temperature and humidity but still considered under the category of "extreme danger". Drought season for the Philippines, I believe is during the month of May but the records occurred in the month of April. In this case, we are to expect a higher number for the month of May. I hope it won't. It's true sunblock and water are badly needed.
