Election Done

Philippines, recently conducted its national election and I was amazed since this would be my first time to exercise my right to suffrage. Just to share with you, I woke up early and did my everyday routine. I decided to go to my assigned precinct at 10 in the morning. Upon arriving at the precinct, I saw a very long line. Obviously, I had to fall in line and it took me about 3 hours just for me to exercise my right to vote. I was happy even though i needed to wait for that long because I know that my vote will matter. How about in your country, do fall in line and wait for several hours just to exercise your right to vote? How is election done in your country? Do you also put indelible ink in your point finger?

What kind of cheating was it? Did the names you voted were altered in the receipt? Have you reported this incident?

Voting is easy for me. I just go to the village hall near my house. I never have to queue at all. We just put an X by the candidate using an ordinary pen. Voting for the first time is exciting, isn't it?

Indeed, it was specially you know that your vote can make a difference. Though, it was kind of frustrating because still in our country we do not have a good system for election and people still need to wait for that long hours just to vote.Well anyway, it's nice to hear that voting in your place was easy. I hope someday, it would be the same for us. :)
