Which chances will you take?
One million dollar or get yourself treated?
Watching the reality show, Survivor, it made me feel bad and inspired at the same time.
When the 71-year old Joe has to leave the game and forget his chance of winning million dollar.
He can not take a chance of putting his body in danger.
Constipated and have some issues with his gall bladder and kidney, not really okay.
If you were Joe, will you continue the game and take the chance of winning the big amount or leave and get yourself treated?

No way. A million dollar is not equivalent to my own life.

how much exactly is that 1 million dollar? Maybe seeing that money may help me decide better
Okay, seriously, It would depend.-
1. how many more stages to go before I get the money
2. who is the opponent
3. what is the act that needs to be done.
As far as I know, a Million Dollar is quite an amount and it can do help me accomplish many things that I want to get done. So it may be just the right bait.

if he goes on, how confident is he that he will win in the condition?
if he does win, the money might mostly go to medical treatment because he pushed it to the limit.

There's no point of risking to win, if he's going to die anyway. besides, 71 years old? what's he going to do with the money, snakes and leeches will be warming him and he might never get the chance.

Our health is important. He's old enough to take the chances.

Life is much worth than any amounth of money, so, I think he made the right decision, and yet, I think he will regret it for the rest of his life, though. After being so close.....poor guy

While the option for immediate pay out may be excluded by his choice, there are other ways he could benefit those he cared about by his experience. I'm kinda thinking along the lines of say other reality tv series, like the Idol franchise...a person may not have won, but they could still use it as a starting block for something. Like, he would have a certain amount of fame from it and exposure...that can easily be used to promote other avenues for him...and, he's better to his family alive and in health.
