I live in Meghalaya state North East India full of mysterious thing happened around it. I will tell you one interesting story about it. There are number of ghost who live in its different places, some of them live on trees, rives, rocks, jungle etc, and these ghost were call by different name, they punish people if they go near them and some are very dangerous and cruel. I will tell you little about ghost who live in the rivers, we call them 'Puri' in our khasi language these ghost are humble compare with the others. If you go for fishing these 'puri' will not let you to catch fish and you will not get even one small fish also if they didn't like you, Waw! that's the way they are, but if they like they will give and give you as much as you want, but dangerous if you catch and catch because they will not let you to go back home or you may get sick or die at the end of the day. Once they like they want your soul. Our people are wise if they got 10/12 fishes they stop and leave so that those 'puri' will not get to punish them. These 'puri' we call them gods of the rivers.
