What is going on in our communities the laws need to be changed for our upcoming children or thing are going to get much more worst. In a world where the kids can call the police on their parents if they touch them. Or what about the nosey people that always in every body else business. Back when I was younger you were dared to disrespect a elder everybody would have been down your throat. Let's get these kids together.

yes you are right i also hear that in foreign country parents should have to fear from children as they complain to police about parents but this is wrong law as here not same while we are child we have to respect parents as they always see good for us so we have not rights to complain, sometime may parents take hand on child but child is doing wrong thing and its need because if not did it then in future it will do more big....

I don't know where you live but the laws are basically the same everywhere. Don't kill. Don't steal. Etc. It's not the laws that need to be changed. People need to change. If people don't respect other people all the laws in the world won't change a thing! When you say “when I was younger”, what you're saying is people have changed. If that show of respect worked when you were younger and people could live together and get along with each other, well then! What changed? The people changed!! They just need to change back!

@shantavah - Actually where I've lived and live now, most people did and do mind their own business. But lack of control comes in one of two ways. (1) When the parent had the opportunity to teach the child how to respect others, they didn't. When the child grew up they didn't respect nobody, including their own parents. (2) The kid got in with a bad crowd and/or made some bad life choices and decisions, and got turned. It happens!
Bottom line is that all people become adults (if they live) and decide which way they want to go. Unfortunately, the whole community suffers when they go the wrong way. That's just a neighborhood. It's far worse when that person becomes a leader of a country. It happens! People have to cry to God. “Deliver us from evil.”

people are not going to change with out guidance. my whole thing is when I was younger our parents didn't take no crap nor our grandparents. The parents today are scared to even breath hard on their kid because they don't want to go to jail so they don't bother. the law has made it where parents cant whoop their child. Im not saying abuse them but these kids now days need a spanking.

@cmoneyspinner one never would I or have I been scared of my kids. I really don't care about them calling the cops on me . I saying some of these parent don't have control over their kids because of the situation. this world would have been a better place if every body would mind their business and le parents be parents.

I hear you. We, as parents, should be responsible for our children's behaviour.
