Most of the youth in the world are confused choosing right career for themselves. Usually when they ask to their family they get simple and straight answer "Get a job".
The reason behind this is very clear. Failure! Loss! One more reason is money! A middle class family has limited money because they do job in some offices or somewhere. This limited money blocks their minds thinking big. Suppose if you have invested 1 lac INR in a business and it gets failed then what will happen? How will you compensate this loss? How can you revive? Will you be able to restart the business?
After getting all these questions in mind, poor youth gets confused. So what will you do in this situation? Please provide your feedback in the comment below.
I have a simple solution and I hope this will work for everyone. First decide what business do you want to do. Then join a skill training program related to that field. Now join a firm or company that is already running that type of business. Learn more from there. Don't get confused again. I am not saying to work in that firm for lifetime. I just want you to get more experience and practical knowledge. When you realize you have enough working knowledge in the field, go and start you own. This solution is not a guarantee. Success depends on many factors so keep working with open mind. Try to capture each and every opportunity. Ups and downs are part of life.
Dear reader if you have tried it already share it here.

This problem will raise, because we are general people, not reserved with many authorities. But do we have choice? No, we are forced because of caste based law.
The only thing we can do is believe in ourselves, and do with all the ability we can.

Caste based law is a big problem. Do you have any idea to solve this problem? Are you in job?

I can share my experience.
I am a professional accountant of over forty years and thought of going on my own but knew I lacked real passion and money to survive initial years.
So after working for few years in India I knew I cannot make much in India of those times. My friends and I left for other countries where we could save more.
Now I have spent half my life in other countries and almost retired.
If you have passion, ready to work for 24/7, then start own business whatever the obstacles.
If you want a contented life, work for others - siva

It is an interesting theme. I stil havn't open my own business, but I have something in my mind and hope to be able to realize it soon. You are definitly right when you talk about the education of many young people. Study a lot, realize a carreer and after search a job to maintain yourself. And that's it. The job is only for own maintenance. But not more. You never will be economical free, but a slave during your whole life. Meanwhile you work always for the same salary, the only person who will get rich thanks to you is the owner of the company where you work for. And thanks to you, because you are practically selling him your knowledge. So, why not working for yourself being your own boss? Knowledge, experience and analisis are the three points you need to start. Before starting, you have to study the market to see what people need, what are they searching for and what's still missing in the market so that you can supply those needs. If you do so, the success is guaranteed.

I say do both especially if your still starting. Having a business right away will be tough when you don't have the knowledge about it yet.

I agree ... But for starting a business you have to see a lot of aspects ... Not only money but your capability . and business is a risky one so join it only when you can invest ... Secondly, experience matter so keep that in mind too :)

Those companies where we are working for or getting our job, took once the risk to start their own business. If they were able to do so, why cannot other people do the same? It is just a question which is in your mind like a root because of the education we recieved. Time has arrived to open minds and to change the direction of life.

@Meramar You are right at this point, most of the people are of negative minds that is why they can not act properly. If they start thinking only practical ways, they may be success.

This can work only for those business where the product is already available to you, not for manufacturing business. Here you have to have your own genuine quality which will be your product specialty too.

@ashutoshpandey Take the simple example of self help groups where women make pickle, papad, bari etc. Here they have to to perfect in taste and quality to survive in the market.
For costlier products take the example of a water purifier-You spend Rs.15000 to 16000 for a RO water purifier, but when the maintenance expenditure is too much as in 'Kent' any one will go back to a manual water filter.

I think a more-natural path is better---if not 'traditionally apprenticed by your father & trained to take over for him when the time comes etc.,' it usually goes "you work a job because you need money, and you rise through the ranks and work the business to get the job done better-&-better. Maybe you're a great success with a business of your own, but it's best to focus on serving the consumers better-&-better.
