~He Messed Up My Plan!~

Julian...that little trouble maker he is! He was fussing earlier so I changed his diaper. It had been 4 hours since he had a bottle so I knew he was going to be hungry soon so I made him one. I told him after his bottle I was giving him a bath. Apparently he didn't like my plan very much because once he got just a few ounces in him he was snoring! So much for the bath... Well once he gets up bath time it is! That little peanut has a mind of his own at times...He better not change my plan again because he is getting a bath today whether if he likes it or not!

@LovingMyBabies Actually, can I go against the flow and say no to the daily baths? I've always been a bit lazy with baby baths and, turns out, the proverbial "they" say that too many baths strips their skin of the natural oils it needs. I don't usually start giving daily baths until the baby is actually getting dirty daily. Unless the baby has a major diaper blow out he or she usually gets a basic wipe down, if needed, and a "real" bath every week.

@Genipher Yeah the doctor told us with him because he is so chunky that he needs a bath every day because everything gets between his rolls. Lol. Under his neck especially. Some days I give him just a sponge bath though-instead of in the water. My other 3 had baths every few days, because of that reason-the oils in their skin. It is true too because when I am in the water my skin gets so dry afterward so I know it's the truth. My skin is super soft like bab skin.

@Daljinder Lol exactly. He decides when he wants one apparently. Lol. He will only get away with it for a little while longer so I will let it slide. Lol

Lol. Sometimes, they sure have a way of changing our plans. Sorry, little man, but kids need their baths. Including the little ones.

@LovingMyBabies my kids usually like taking their baths, but there are times, when they just don't want to take it and are just miserable when they take it.

@LovingMyBabies it's your choice ,and your routine of bathing your baby.

@sarameastrong Actually most babies don't need a bath every day-they need one every few days or once a week. I give him a bath either once a day or once every other day because he has a lot of rolls and the formula gets everywhere with him.

I haven't got a baby yet. But having a little baby like yours, as in my imagination, must be a funny thing in the daily life, although the trouble it brings to you.

These babies... they are the same all across the globe. It has been very high temperatures here (mid summers, hopefully) and so mine does need a bath daily. But I think she still needs to find the right time... feed or not, she will always be asleep when her mother or grandmother would want to have her bathed
