Back in highschool I used to be very interested in the history of my country, that's why I took a Canadian history, identity and culture course...was pretty interesting actually.

Great question and I hope all the young people still in school see this one. While I was in school I thought history was so damn boring, then as I got older I got interested in politics and realized how much about my own country's history, and others, that I knew nothing about. Now,I spend most of my time watching the History Channel trying to catch up and can't believe while I was in school I didn't find it all very important and interesting.
