My son took this photo of Doodles on our red silk chair. He used his claws and climbed up the back of it first. He is not allowed in my living room or dining room unsupervised. I was elsewhere in the house, showing our guests around. Fortunately, no damage was done.
My point is that I always try to post a photo with my discussions to add to the appeal. Some people comment about the photos, all of which are my own, while others dismiss them completely.
Are you complimentary or one who dismisses?

When I read a discussion I try to take it all in. The picture, the title and of course the discussion itself. I feel that Doodles is your third son, or your third grandchild and you speak so lovingly about him. And he's a beauty, even if he is sitting on a good chair that he's not supposed to be sitting on.

I like to add photos to the post too if it's relevant. But sometimes I don't have a photo. I like visiting posts with photos, but I do visit ones without also. That's a beautiful red silk chair you have, luckily no damage was done from Doodles claws

Usually I am attracted to a post by it's photo like this one, Doodles is so kool thinkin he got away with somethin.
I agree, pictures add that special something to anything we write ..... I can't remember the last time I even looked at a title, it's always the picture
Ok, I lied, sometimes I simply respond to the comments I get in my notifications but when I'm surfing the most recent discussions I'm usually attracted by the photo.

i agree with claudia that doodles actually looks defiant here, hahaha! and yes, red is always a great contrast to black and he also knows which chair is the best! oh, doodles....

I do like a photo or image of some kind on my posts, and I like them on other people's. However, I don't always mention them in my responses as I'm often too absorbed in what I have to say about the post. Very remiss of me, but I do appreciate them.
Doodles looks like the king of all he surveys - the red chair is his throne

Wow, what a beauty of a chair - that color!! Ohhh . . . I hope Doodles was very careful on that silk! I do look at the photos and I think I mostly comment about what I see (unless I totally can see that photo was a clip art or some free online source). I should really post more photos

@DianneN I rarely use the camera on the phone . . . I'm such a die hard digital camera person . . . which means I have to take the memory card out and transfer the images to the computer, etc etc. So I get lazy with photos when it comes to myLot

@much2say I use a digital cameras on vacations. I'm not a very technical person. Doodles gets Greenies, Dentals, and Tempations in a variety of flavors. I know he would prefer a bird, squirrel, or chipmunk, but that's not gonna happen here!!!!

Cats love going where they know they're not supposed to be! My cat makes great use of night time when I'm in bed to go into places I normally say "no" to! Your cat looks like he's daring your son to make him get off the chair in that pic! lol
