Can jobs tell who you can talk to or not? Because I work at this job and though I become real good friends with this particular co worker we keep our personal life out of the work area. However sometimes we have lunch together and some of the managers find that a problem. Why? I don't know. We both do our work and finish at a certain time like we're supposed to. We don't fraternize. But since they've notice I'm told I cant affiliate with her EVEN on a professional level. Can bosses do that?

@MGjhaud tried but doesn't work. And I can understand getting work done and no distractions and all that. However if you as a supervisor do it and people come to me saying your flirting or talking and not being professional and on top of that you say because I can to me then its a problem.

That's the thing we DONT ifiliate our personal life at work. Yes we met each other there but we always been professional about what we do. And yes sometimes we have went on break together because that's when we sometimes talk.

It depends on what is specified when you are hired I believe. It also depends on what type of job and what type of work.

@GardenGertyi work by myself on a dock. To deliver my work I HAVE to associate with this lady sometimes. I mean what do they want me to do write a letter?

I know it has happened to other co workers. As for ourselves they seem to pay more attention.
