Missing Pieces (A Poem)

I wrote this poem when I was 12 (almost 7 years ago) so the writing style might be a little naive. I was going through depression at the time, which is why I started writing poetry in the first place because it helped me cope, most of the time.
...
Looking in the mirror at this invisible face
My soul has vanished without a trace
Only the memories were left behind
Still I mourn for a love that I cannot find
A soul that was happy, now lives in strife
I am walking in the shadows of this empty life
Was my heart fooled by your deceiving lies?
Come back and wipe the tears from my lifeless eyes
Begging for the truth, struggling to find your heart
You don't understand how I feel, it's tearing me apart
My soul cannot be found and I will never let you know
You will have my heart forever but I have to let you go

@JustBhem I planned on posting more of the writing from when I was younger, but I'm not sure if I would be allowed because of how sad most of it is. I have wanted to start writing again to see if I were still any good at it but I just can't think of anything. Writer's block I guess?

By Anna Williams Its too good and it will surely touch many-many hearts. So, I will share it on my facebook page. So simple yet so deep, a broken heart. There are thousands and thousands it not millions will share this expression of yours that has come from the very core of your soul. I will post it on What'sap. Thanks for writing such a wonderful, wonderful poem. Its too good and I am being honest in saying this that you are a damn good poet.

Lol, thank you :) seems averagely decent to me, nothing I would call brilliant by any means.. I just recently found a bunch of stuff that I wrote when I was 12. Some of it is decent and the others make me wonder where my head even was at the time. Funny how things change within time.
